Tanchem was established in 1981. It was founded by Mr. Tan Lip Chee. The company is appointed as the major distributor of *International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in Malaysia. It is principally involved in the distributions and sales of superior quality flavors and frangrances to the food processing industries and consumer product industries respectively.

Tanchem understands that in a competitive marketplace where business compete for customers, customer satisfaction has become a key element of business strategy. Therefore, the company is operated by three main divisions to ensure the smoothness of business.

1. The Office

The office is a platform combine with administration, operation and marketing. We emphasize on close co-operation with our principles and customers. Internally we work together to strive againts the efficiency, including purchasing, order reception and processing, delivery of goods and after sales services.

2. The Lab

The lab is to provide technical supports, including scientific analysis, experiments, and measurements. We are pleased to assist in reasearch and developement of new products and formulation to ensure that we continue to meet customers' needs and the changing market demands

3. The Warehouse

The warehouse is to maintain accurate inventory level. Our warehouse is coordinated by inventory management system, based on first in first out basis. The system keeps track on the record of warehouse transactions. With the forecast driven by computer program, we provide the timely deliveries with appropriate pricing to all customers.

We also have a cold room in the warehouse to store some of our products which are sensitive to heat.
